FARO® has successfully won two Innovative Product Awards (IPA) at this year's World of Concrete (WOC) tradeshow hosted in Las Vegas in January.
The FARO Flatness Check App was what garnered their wins in the categories of “Expert Choice Award for sustainable innovations” and “Industry Choice Award for Slab Tools, Equipment & Materials”.
The Innovative Product Awards is an industry recognition program celebrating the most successful construction community members and their innovations in concrete. Winners for this inaugural awards program were announced in WOC's weekly ConstructioNext Concrete & Masonry newsletter.
The 2023 Industry Choice Award winners were selected based on valid votes received through the IPA program online awards platform during the voting period of January 16, 2023 and February 14, 2023, in nine unique categories. With more than 100 nominees within these categories, FARO is excited to receive the Award in the “Slab Tools, Equipment & Materials” category.
What set the Expert's Choice Award winners apart was the ability of these solutions, including the FARO Flatness Check App, to aid performance and competence, setting a higher standard in the industry.
The winners were selected by a panel of World of Concrete editors and industry experts and the winning solutions were categorized as either a sustainable or disruptive innovation.
Sustainable innovations are defined as solutions that incrementally improve an existing process, altering how contractors and producers can deliver productivity or increase safety or engineering efficiency in real time. FARO is proud to have been chosen as a winner in this category. The Award shows industry approval of our solution and underlines that choosing the right tools will become the key driver to efficient processes.
