Implementing 3D Laser Scanning for MEP Applications

Join FARO’s Matthew Davies and Graham Tinker for an engaging webinar designed to enlighten attendees as to the benefits of 3D laser scanning as it applies to MEP building systems.

The event will be held March 22, 2023, at 1 pm GMT and will detail how to use the FARO Focus laser scanner for the best results as well as its related software so that as-built construction can inform the 3D model.

At the conclusion of the talk, attendees will be able to understand how the FARO Focus Laser Scanner can help capture physical components. Attendees will also be more proficient using As-BuiltTM Software to compare 3D models to in-field MEP installations as well as to create MEP system drawings.

Matthew Davies studied Mechanical Engineering at University and spent 9 years working in industrial metrology. He joined FARO in 2019, his experience in manufacturing is helping AEC customers with faster, more accurate surveys.

Graham Tinker joined FARO In October 2021, with a background of using Revit and AutoCad. Graham is an Application Engineer for the AEC team at FARO, for the northern region, and has extensive knowledge across all the FARO products including Focus Scanners, SCENE, BuildIt, and As-Built.
