The success of how jobsites and projects are run is entirely dependent on the construction technology and systems we have at hand, and the evolution of that technology is growing even more rapidly today than ever before.
From real-time data integrations across software to the use of robotics on-site literally using a gaming tablet or controller, the world of construction has a new norm in operations that can be deployed at scale and across the building and project lifecycle.
Watch our latest panel webinar where experts working in the field and behind the technology of today come together to really dive into the democratization of this technology and how it's applied in real projects.
Watch this webinar to:
- Find how construction can be game-like by using the latest technology to augment your projects.
- Learn how business and financial success is not found in the next shiny object, but in solutions that solve a problem and bring value to your projects.
- Dive into how robots are no longer an exotic technology reserved for the lab, as we demonstrate how the SPOT robot is a useful tool that can be easily controlled by workers on the jobsite with a gaming tablet or controller.
- Explore how accelerating use of cross-system integrations with Autodesk Construction CloudTM can support a vast number of project workflows, helping to improve safety, decrease risk and increase profitability.
Meet the presenters
Brian Ringley |Construction Technology Manager at Boston Dynamics
Brian is the Construction Technology Manager at Boston Dynamics where he supports AEC customer applications for the SPOT platform and promotes the development of new autonomous behavior that adds value to construction project delivery. He teaches computational fabrication and industrial robotics as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute's Graduate Architecture and Urban Design program. Prior to Boston Dynamics, he was a Senior Construction Automation Researcher at WeWork where he managed the construction robotics research program and developed facilities, products, and industrial automation processes for modular prefabrication and offsite construction.
Dominic Corrado|Director of Construction Technology at Texas Balfour Beatty
Dominic utilizes his previous jobsite experience and MEP Coordination to maximize his daily efforts researching new and innovative technologies for our field personnel. He understands what technologies are useful and what barriers for implementation come up in the field. Dominic comes from a long line of builders and has worked in a variety of market sectors including: healthcare, mid-rise residential, hospitality, commercial office, and assisted living/memory care. Dominic’s unique capabilities help drive Balfour Beatty into the future of construction technology.
Kipp Ivey | Key Account Manager at FARO Technologies
Kipp is the Key Account Manager for FARO. Kipp married his passion for construction and technology which allows him to draw upon his 35 years in the construction industry to help the companies and clients he works with find solutions that provide success in today's technology driven construction environment. After studying mechanical engineering and moving to computer science, Kipp followed in his grandfather’s and father’s footsteps by completing his apprenticeship in the sheet metal skilled trades from journeyman to executive management. For the past 20 years Kipp has been involved with construction technology working with Quickpen International, Trimble and now FARO.
Josh Cheney | Senior Manager of Strategic Alliances at Autodesk
